How Invisalign® Works

Your aligners are custom-made from precise 3D images of your teeth, so every step of your treatment is planned in advance.

  1. Scan & Plan

    We take a quick, comfortable digital scan of your teeth with the iTero® Element™ and show you a virtual preview of your new smile.

  2. Wear Your Aligners

    Wear each set for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Your teeth move little by little with each new set.

  3. Reveal Your Smile

    Treatment averages 9 to 15 months with 18 to 30 aligners, though every case is different. A retainer then keeps your results in place.

For Teens Invisalign Teen®

Designed with teens in mind, Invisalign Teen offers all the benefits of clear aligners, plus blue compliance indicators that show how often the aligners are worn and replacement aligners in case one gets lost. Teens can play sports, play instruments, and smile in photos with confidence.
